"Word for Thirds" Dictionaries
The importance of good reading and word understanding is the goal of the
Grange's "Words for Thirds" project in which third grade students in local
schools are given a dictionary of their own. In Perry County, dictionaries were
purchased by the Pomona Grange and were presented in the Newport and
Greenwood Elementary Schools by volunteers from the local Perry Valley Grange.
